Fes Guided Visit

• Royale Palace

  First, we will visit the fascinating Fez Royal palace, to see its tremendous giant 7 brass Gates. That has matching knockers, covered with intricate patterns and majestically carved in copper. The tremendous Gates are perfectly surrounded by mesmerizing Moroccan tile work or Zellige. It is also carved with cedar wood giving the perfect example of the authentic Moroccan architecture

• Fez Mellah

  The Fes Mellah is also walled and it has a fortified gateway. These Jewish quarters are located near the royal residencies which enabled its inhabitants to be protected from the wrath of the Muslim populace. The Fes Mellah was once solely inhabited by Jews. This was the first "mellah" in Morocco and originated in 1438. In the early 14th century it was founded by the Merinids, beside Fes.

• Bab Boujloude

  Next we will visit the gorgeous gate of Boujlloud. Your tour guide will take you through this magical journey to discover the old Medina of Fez.

• Jardin Jnan Sbil

  Your local guide will next introduce you to the charming Jnane Sbil Gardens. In order to get some breezy air and see the captivating centered Moroccan-Style Fountains.

• Kairaouine Mosque (Mosque of al-Qarawiyyin)

  Kairaouine Mosque, Founded in 859, this university is one of the leading spiritual and educational centers of the Muslim world and is considered the oldest continuously operating institution of higher learning in the world.

• Lunch Stop

  Stop for lunch at one of Fez restaurants of your choice.

• Bou Inania Madrasa

  The Madrasa Bou Inania is a madrasa founded in AD 1351–56 by Abu Inan Fais, who also founded the Madrasa Bou Inania in Meknes. The madrasa functioned as both an educational institute and as a congregational mosque at the same time. It is the only madrasa in Fes which has a minaret

• Chouara Tannery

  The Chourara or the Tanner's Quarters is the most lively and picturesque souks in Fès. The Tanneries are often located near watercourses like the Wadi Fès and at a distance from residential areas due to the strongly unpleasant smells they produce. See the wide array of leather work, a tradition of Fes.

• Borj Nord

  Our last stop would be The Merenid Tombs. That is in order to get the most beautiful and dramatic panoramic view over the epic old Medina. At the end of Full Day Guided Visit of Fes, your driver will drop you off at your Hotel/Riad.
