High Atlas, Ourika Valley & Gardens
Join this tour of the High Atlas, Ourika Valley & Gardens and scape the noise of Marrakech to the Atlas mountains, where you can see stunning landscapes and some of the most beautiful rivers, mountains, and waterfalls in Morocco. Enjoy the drive to Ourika Valley, visit the magical Anima and Saafrane gardens. On the way to Setti Fatma, we will get to learn about the culture in the region of Ourika with a stop at one of the Berber villages, then hike with a local guide to the stunning waterfalls and more.
Departure
Soak up the fantastic landscape of the Moroccan countryside as you are collected from your hotel at 09 a.m. and driven away from the noise of the city to the foot of the majestic High Atlas Mountains.
Stop at Anima Garden
After about 30 minutes drive, we will reach Anima gardens, a place with hundreds of botanical influences from around the world, blended together with artworks by Picasso, Haring, Rodin and more!
Drive up the Valley & Lunch
We will drive another 30 minutes until we arrive at the village of Setti Fatma, passing various adobe Berber villages and eventually visit one. Relax at one of the cafés on the riverbank and enjoy your lunch, spend the rest of the day listening to the sound of the stream with the High Atlas Mountains as a backdrop.
Drive Back to Marrakech
Later on, we will drive back to Marrakech, where your day trip to Ourika Valley will end with a drop off around 5 p.m. at your hotel.
