Ouzoud Waterfalls and Natural Bridge Day Trip from Marrakech

This day trip will take you north-east of Marrakech to the two scenic highlights of the Grand Atlas Mountains: Ouzoud Waterfalls and the Imi N’Ifri natural bridge. Begin with the impressive natural arch at Imi-n-Ifri near the rural village of Demnate, where you can walk down the many steps to the base of the cascades and pass under the most famous arch in Morocco overhead. This magical cave, which extends over an area of 1500 square meters and whose opening resembles the map of Africa will enchant you by its hanging green plants, the falling drops of water and the flocks of birds flying continually around the cave's mouth.

Afterwards, we will continue to the Cascades d’Ouzoud, the second tallest waterfall in Africa and one of the most visited natural sites in Morocco! This spectacular waterfall attract large numbers of visitors; it is a favorite weekend getaway for the local people and for the tourists who want to enjoy the nature. Ouzoud stands atop of the Azilal region and it is known for its beautiful landscapes of lush meadows, fruit trees, tiny hamlets, river-side restaurants, high green terraces, Atlas peaks, rocky village foothills, barbary monkeys and the seven waterfalls that surround the village.

Your driver will pick you from your accommodation in Marrakech at 08:30am and drive east to Imi N'Ifri natural bridge. This imposing natural arch, launched above a river, is a rocky block which formerly formed a barrage and which the river has cut right through.
Stop at Imi N'Ifri
Imi N Ifri is one of the most visited natural attractions in the region of Azilal in the High Atlas Mountains. See the Natural Bridge, a stone structure created by the water that flows underneath. Contemplate the slow but persistent force of nature in the formation of this fully functional limestone bridge, used for hundreds of years. Here you will have time to explore this natural gem on your own pace.
Ouzoud Waterfalls
Arrive in the white Ouzoud Waterfalls which pour from the top of reddish cliffs and crash down to the bottom of a green chasm, falling into the canyon of Wadi el-Abid 110 m below. You will have the absolute freedom for short walks or a hike to explore this wonderland, admiring the majestic succession of the cascades and the rainbow created by the mist thrown up by the water. After the hike, enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the local restaurants.
Return to Marrakech
Around 3 pm we will drive back to Marrakech in comfort of your private 4x4 or a Moderns van. Drop off at your accommodation around 6 pm.
