Rabat became the official capital of the country under the French protectorate, which began in 1912.The city of Marrakech was Founded in about 1070 by Senhadji family as a capital of Moravid empire, Marrakesh has been a cultural centre key for Islamic art as well as a major commercial hub for Morocco.

At 8:00 a.m we start our 7 hours journey into Bin el Ouidane, with plenty of breaks along the way to appreciate the ever-changing Moroccan landscape. First stop in Ifrane where the houses have sloping roofs, remarkable and unusual in Morocco, also know as little Swizerland. A 15min stop to stretch your legs, drink a cup of coffee. We continue south cross the majestic Middle Atlas and stop for a while to observe the Barbary apes in the Aok and the cedar forest. The natural habitat of one of the world’s most endangered primate species — the Barbary macaque (scientifically known as Macaca sylvanus).
