Meet your guide in your Hotel at 09am and start your guided visit tour of Tangier, immerse yourselves in the vibrancy and heady atmosphere of a Moroccan medina. You'll be guided through the network of narrow streets that make up the Medina ( Old town ) on foot for a couple of hours. Wander around Petit Socco Square, known for its buzzy markets, craft shops, and cafés. After lunch we will leave the hustle of the Medina behind and head to Cape Spartel, a lighthouse that marks the convergence of the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. Continue onwards to the Caves of Hercules, an archaeological cave complex located next to Tangier beach. Explore the rock formations and see if you can identify the shape formed by the cave entrance: some say it represents the shape of the African continent! Travel back in time discovering the Phoenician Tombs. In the early 1900’s nearly 100 graves were exhumed from this Punic-Roman necropolis overlooking the sea. 3000-year old cemetery of nearly 100 graves to watch the sun set into the Mediterranean sea, below.
